These terms apply to roofing and related works ("the works") carried out by J&B Roofing Specialists ("we", "us") of Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, serving Hull, Beverley and the surrounding areas. By accepting a quote and asking us to carry out works, you agree to these terms.

Quotations

Quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. A quote is only a firm price once we have confirmed it in writing and you have accepted it.

The works

• We cover all aspects of roofing, including flat roofing (GRP fibreglass and felt), roof repairs, re-roofing, fascias and soffits, chimney work and leadwork.
• Where unforeseen issues arise once work has started (for example hidden damage or rot), we will inform you before carrying out any additional chargeable work.
• We will carry out the works with reasonable care and skill, in line with normal good trade practice.

Emergency call-outs

We are available 24 hours for emergency roofing repairs. Emergency call-out arrangements, including any out-of-hours charges, will be confirmed when you book.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit and stage payments, are set out in your written quote. We accept cash, credit card and bank transfer. Invoices are payable within the stated period; we may charge interest on late payment in line with UK law.

Guarantees

Any guarantee given on materials or workmanship will be confirmed in writing with your quote or invoice. It does not cover fair wear and tear, storm damage, or work carried out by others after our completion.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel or postpone agreed works, please tell us as soon as possible by phone on 07375 366681 or email at jbroofingspecialists@gmail.com. We may charge for costs already reasonably incurred.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
